Agincourt GO Station

COMPLETION DATE: 2013. This project involves the construction of the TTC's new Sheppard East LRT.
Customer Impact: A portion of the south parking lot has been closed. Access to the station building, north lot and remaining parking spaces in the south parking lot will be maintained. A new underpass will open and all traffic along Sheppard Avenue will be diverted along this underpass below the train tracks. There will also be changes to some of the access routes into and out of the station.

Ajax GO Station

COMPLETION DATE: Early 2013. This project involves the construction of a new 1000 space multi-level parking structure with elevators, tunnel access to platforms, new Kiss & Ride area and bicycle storage has commenced at your station.
Customer Impact: The parking lot immediately south of the station platforms will be closed during construction; however, all remaining parking areas will be available. West end of station platform to close. Trains will stop 450 off of the station platform and will therefore not open doors to the 4 east end coaches, the first 4 from the locomotive as well as the east end doors on the accessible coach, the 5th coach from the locomotive. Accessible access will be available at the east end of the platform. Fairall St. and 40 spots south of Fairall will not be available for use. Access road from O'Brien Crt to the south lot will also close however the pedestrian walkway along the access road will be open.

Appleby GO Station

COMPLETION DATE: late 2013. Improvements to the station building including new washrooms and a new waiting area.
Customer Impacts: An area on the east side of the station building will be closed until the end of January 2013 and for the entire duration of the project the parking area east of the Kiss & Ride will be closed.

Bloor GO Station

COMPLETION DATE: early 2015. Construction will begin on the east half of the north platform the afternoon of April 11th. Two new access ways have been opened on either side of Earnest Ave. that will provide access to the platforms from the West Toronto Railpath.
Customer Impacts: During construction trains will stop further west of the platform and there will be no access to the 5 west end coaches on the train. Passengers will only be able to board and exit the train through the 5 east end coaches, the first 5 coaches behind the engine.

Burlington GO Station

COMPLETION DATE: Early 2014. Improvements are being made to the station building and south parking lot to make it a more modern link to safe, comfortable and convenient public transportation.
Customer Impacts: Until August 2013. Ticket windows and passenger washrooms in the station building will be closed. Both will be relocated to the north side of station in front of the parking structure. Tickets will be sold from a temporary trailer. The bus loop and the west tunnel will be closed from the south side. East tunnel will provide access to the platforms and north side of the station.Elevators on the south side will be out of service. Elevator access will be from the north side of the station only.

Clarkson GO Station

COMPLETION DATE: Late 2013. Construction of a new 1200 space multi-level parking structure with elevators, enclosed walkways, waiting areas to tunnels
Customer Impact: The northwest section of the south lot to be closed. Reserved spots from this area will be relocated to the north and south east sections of the south side lot and some temporary parking will be available at 2120 Bromsgrove Road but spots will be limited. 100 new parking spaces are currently available at the Ontario Racquet Club for use by GO Customers. March 4th to September 17th, parking on the west side access road will not be permitted.

Erindale GO Station

COMPLETION DATE: Summer 2013. This project involves the construction of a new multi-level covered parking structure with 1700 new spaces, new bus loop, dedicated pedestrian pathways and covered pedestrian bridge to the station tracks.
Customer Impact: Most of the south parking lot will close during construction; however, additional parking will be available in a temporary lot on the north side of Rathburn Rd. Bridge spanning Burnhamthorpe Rd until summer 2012. Station washrooms will also be replaced by portable washrooms outside the station building until spring 2012.
COMPLETION DATE: early September 2013. From April 22 until September 4, the bus loop at the station will be closed. A portion of the west parking lot immediately north of the station platform will also be closed to complete construction on the new parking garage.
Customer Impact: Buses will not enter the station but will instead pickup and drop off passengers at the intersection of Rathburn and Creditview Rds. Additional temporary parking is available between at Deer Run Plaza located at 4040 Creditview Rd. There are designated GO spaces. Please check the posted notice for the location of these spots.

Etobicoke North GO Station

COMPLETE DATE: August 2013. Three bridges are being widened along the Georgetown line at Kipling Avenue, Martin Grove Rd. and Highway 27 as part of the Georgetown South construction project.
Customer Impacts: 18 parking spots at the north end of the north lot will be closed for the storage of construction equipment. The sidewalk on the west side of Kipling that leads from the north parking lot to the station will be out of service until spring 2013. A temporary pedestrian walkway is available.

Maple GO Station

COMPLETION DATE: Fall 2013. Maintenance and repair work will begin on both the interior and exterior of the station building.
Customer Impact: A section of the Kiss and Ride closest to the platform, at the corner south of the station building will be closed during construction.

Mimico GO Station

COMPLETION DATE: November 2013. This project involves the extension of the station platform to accommodate 12 car trains.
Customer Impact: The north side of the south platform will be closed. Trains will serve the south side of the south platform.

Mount Joy GO Station

COMPLETION: End May, 2013. The City of Markham has closed the entrance/exit to Mount Joy GO station from Markham Rd. to continue with repairs to the road and island at the entrance.
Customer Impact: No access to the station from Markham Rd. Passengers should use the Bur Oak Avenue entrance/exit to get into and out of the station.

Niagara Falls VIA station

Pickering GO Station

COMPLETION DATE: Late 2013. The project involves the construction of a new multi-level parking structure that will accommodate an additional 1500 new parking spaces, with access to the new bridge across Hwy 401 as well as a covered walkway to the station.
Customer Impacts: Accessible parking spots have been relocated from east of the Kiss and Ride area to the west side of the Kiss and Ride. Passengers using these accessible spots and needing access to the elevators located in the east tunnel should allow for extra time to access the elevators. - April 12-18: Daily from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm the east driveway from Bayly St. will be closed to enable the dropping off construction materials. Access to the parking lot will be available through the west driveway only. - April 23-29: The lot adjacent to the driveway will close to dismantle the crane. During construction parking capacity will be reduced. Access additional parking on level 2 & 3 in the new parking garage via entrance on the north side of Pickering Pkwy. All reserved parking spots have also been moved to the west lot.

Richmond Hill GO Station

COMPLETION DATE: Spring 2013. This project involves the construction of 500 new parking spots and rehab station construction. Customer Impacts: April 29-May 6 – Some parking spots in the west lot will alongside the bus loop & Newkirk Rd. will be unavailable May 6-May13 – Some parking spaces at the east side of the west lot alongside Newkirk R. and Major Mackenzie Dr. and just south of the station building will be unavailable. May 21-Until further notice – Reserved parking spots will be relocated to the east lot across from Newkirk Rd. Parking numbers will remains.

Rouge Hill GO Station

COMPLETION DATE: Winter 2013. Heaters to be installed in north rail platform shelters and bus passenger shelter as well as speaker system to be replaced on the north rail platform.
Customer Impacts: Approximately 25 regular parking spots and 3 accessible parking spots located east of the station building to be closed off during construction.

St. Catharines VIA station

Stouffville GO Station

COMPLETION DATE: End April. Exterior recladding work will be done on the old grain elevator in the west parking lot.
Customer Impact: Three parking spaces on each side of the elevator will be closed to allow the work to be safely completed.

Union Station

COMPLETION DATE: 2016. There are a number of exciting and ongoing construction projects at Union Station that may result in changes to your boarding patterns. We recommend passengers give themselves additional travel time to purchase their tickets and board train and bus services. For information on the construction projects in and around Union Station, please visit the Union Station Revitalization website.
COMPLETION DATE: Mid-2013. This project involves TTC's Union Station Second Platform and Concourse Improvements Project. There are impacts to customers with accessible needs. Please visit the TTC's website for further information.
Customer Impacts: Vehicle access to Front Street is very limited. The configuration of Front Street changes often to accommodate construction phases. All pedestrians exiting the station to the north should follow wayfinding signage to Bay, York and Front Streets. Customers travelling by taxi may use Bremner Blvd to the south of the station. The construction at Union Station is expected to be substantially complete by summer 2015.

Unionville GO Station

COMPLETION DATE: Mid-2013. Complete renovation of building interior to meet current customer service and accessibility standards. Station will have new accessible washrooms, larger waiting area, and relocated ticket booth which improves passengers flows.
Customer Impact: Most of the building will be off limits; Public washrooms facilities are temporarily out of service until October 1st; Reserved and accessible parking will be relocated; and a walkway will be set up along the south end of the construction site providing access to the platforms. The north entrance and the ticket booth will remain open.

Weston GO Station

COMPLETION DATE: Mid 2015. Station will be relocated to the south side of Lawrence Ave. W. and will be under construction until mid 2015.
Customer Impact: As construction will continue on the new station facility until mid 2015, temporary facilities will be set up at the new station. A new parking lot will be set up on the south side of Lawrence Ave W. with access from Weston Rd. Tickets will be sold from a temporary trailer located at the north end of this new parking lot.

Whitby GO Station

COMPLETION DATE: April 20, 2013. Power to the parking structure will be shut down on April 20th, between 8:00 a.m. and 12 noon to conduct some of the electrical work needed to complete the installation of the vehicle charging stations in the parking structure.
Customer Impacts: Access to the parking structure will be restricted and the lights and elevators will be out of service. Additionally, the ticket vending machines and PRESTO machines on the south side of the tracks will be unavailable, therefore, please use the PRESTO and ticket vending machines on the north side of the tracks during this time.

Yorkdale Bus Terminal

COMPLETION DATE: Summer 2013. This projects involves improvements to the terminal facility which includes elevator installation, staircase, ramp and bus bay improvements plus washroom modifications.
